We did the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Nepal Nirvana Trails. Our guide, Uttar, was knowledgable, experienced, well-prepared and above all extremely friendly and positive all the way. He was very helpful and flexible to adapt the trip on the go to our wishes and needs. A special mention goes to the director, KP, who went the extra mile for us after we lost a backpack after arriving in Kathmandu. It was amazing how KP helped us with this hassle, even though he did not necessarily have to in my opinion. He truly cares about his customers. The Manaslu Circuit Trek itself is also very much recommendable as it leads through stunning nature. The accommodations and meals (surprisingly copious amounts) throughout the trip were nice. Altogether, a very nice 5-star experience with this company.

I compared many trekking companies in Thamel before choosing to go with Nepal Nirvana. KP (the owner) is friendly and honest, and gives the best prices without any haggling needed. He also helped us with special requests like transferring our non-hike belongings to Pokhara to meet us after our hike, at no additional cost. Also, he allowed us a great deal of flexibility with changing or adding on trekking days as we wanted.

We chose to hike Manaslu Circuit, which was an amazing experience. Raj (our porter/guide) was exceptional. Though his English isn't fluent, he always understood what we wanted and was very helpful. He always knew the route, and always woke up before us to prep for the day. He made sure we had enough to eat, and would deal with all the permit checkpoint stuff so we never had to bother with it. He was always in a great mood and loved to show us his area (he's a local of Gorkha region).

All in all, we had a great experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Nepal Nirvana to anyone looking to do some trekking in Nepal, especially Manaslu Circuit or some other hike in Gorkha region with Raj. Thanks to KP and Raj for orchestrating an amazing time for us!

Did the budget Manaslu trek with Raj as a porter/guide in mid-April. The trek included the permits, porter/guide and transportation. We also rented a down jacket and sleeping bags. We paid or own accommodations and food. Good value overall. Raj’s English is not the best but enough to be understood. He knows the route really well and would make efforts to ensure we were happy with the tea houses. He carried our heavy bag through the pass no problem. Weather on the trek was good with only rain on the last day. Nepal nirvana is a good honest company that is very flexible to give you the trek you are looking for at the right budget.

The guide BHAIRUS was exceptional. l dont think you could get a better guide..he was able to answer all our questions. He organised all our accommodation rooms with indoor toilets..He organised all our food . Breakfast, lunch ,dinners, and any snacks. All we had to do was trek.. Trekking was out of this world..the views were amazing. The trekking was hard. The porters were brilliant - they carry so much ..But the thing that impressed me was their ability to see when you needed their help .. they just dropped their packs and were there for you. They would take your day pack and..that little bit of knowledge and help made such a difference.
We had so much fun with our guide and porters. Bhairus Lucpa, and Bala.. they became good friends and for 30 days were our family.. you could not ask for more from a small family run trekking company.. I cannot recommend Nepal Nirvana Trails more highly. Absolutely top class.

What an experience!! We had a guide and two porters to help us three 60yr+ walk the three passes. They could not have done more to help us fulfil this dream. Right from KP the director who made everything so easy, to Bhiras our expert guide, who was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the route, and Balas and Lapa our porters who were so helpful. This made our journey fun, definitely remember the card game "Spoons". All we had to do was the walking and if that became difficult our "family" would be there to help as best as they could. If I could give 6 out of 5 I most definitely would. Thank you for memories I shan't forget

Together with our guide Raj we did the Annapurna circuit trek (13 days), and it was an amazing experience. We were a bit nervous about the Thorong La Pass but he gave us the confidence to do it, and we did! :) We laughed a lot and we felt really safe. Also Raj’s knowledge was as complete as possible (more than the lonely planet :D).
The trip was very well organised - the only thing we had to do was hike and choose our food (dhal bat is the best!). The teahouses were nice and our porter Arjun impressed us with his strength. We would definitely recommend Raj and Nepal Nirvana to anyone!

Having Dipak as our guide made the experience amazing. He was our teacher, friend, cheerleader, coach, doctor, and biggest supporter every step of the way. I felt so safe and cared for the entire time with him and I am so happy that my friend and I chose to use Nepal Nirvana as the program to complete the Annapurna circuit with. Dipak was attentive to all of our needs and we would not have been as successful during our trek without him. He has such a fun energy to him and the long days were full of laughs and dancing. He made my friend and I feel like family and touched both of our hearts so deeply. We will forever have a friend in Dipak.

Our guide Dipak immediately made us feel like family. We are so grateful he was with us throughout this experience and couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide us in this journey. He always had a special way of making us laugh and kept us in good spirits no matter the conditions. Myself and my trekking partner were both sick on and off throughout most of the trek and Dipak always made sure we were cared for. We always felt so safe with him and are forever grateful. I can’t recommend both Dipak and Nirvana trails enough. We truly left this experience feeling like we gained family. Thank you KP and Dipak!
