Note:The flight is scheduled from Manthali - Lukla - Manthali from the 20th of September to the end of November 2024 instead of Kathmandu. So, you will have to drive to Manthali from Kathmandu early in the morning about 2 to 3 am and catch the flight to Lukla from there. And it goes the same while returning, you will fly to Manthali from Lukla and Drive to Kathmandu. The change is made to decrease the traffic pressure at Kathmandu airport and the flight is short from Manthali to Lukla.
The trekkers looking forward to their trek in the Everest Region opt to take the flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. In addition to the fantastic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, Lukla Airport (Tenzing Hillary Airport) is a reputation for being the gateway to trekking in the Everest Region. The flight to Lukla will give thrill seekers a rush. One cannot forecast the weather in the Himalayas. Therefore, there is a likelihood that the Kathmandu - Lukla flight to cancel, especially during the monsoon season (June - August).

Lukla’s Tenzing - Hillary Airport is rated one of the most thrilling airports in the world. In clear weather, Tenzing-Hillary Airport conducts many flights from Kathmandu. Some flights are delayed due to the bad weather, even during the finest seasons of Autumn and Spring.

Great organization!
KP was amazing, I arrived to Kathmandu right after the floods and as you might expect getting to Lukla was extremely hard, but KP spent all day on the phone until he was able to find a way for us to make it there. Great organization!
