This is the starting point of the trek, yet a beautiful village just 18 kilometers away from the chaotic Kathmandu city that provides the luxury of a peaceful and green environment just outside Kathmandu Valley.

Chisapani

With the gorgeous combination of rural life, incredible Himalayan views, and the feel of natural resources on the lap of mother nature, Chisapani is an immensely significant prospect in domestic tourism as many Nepalese people hike to this place to escape the chaotic life of Kathmandu.

Yolmo Culture

Yolmo predominantly practices beliefs and culture and speaks the language, followed by the people residing in northern Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk districts, Helambu, and Melamchi valleys. There are currently 11000+ native speakers of this language, and they follow their unique traditions. The number of people following the divine path of yolmo is slowly degrading, but the inhabitants are saving their culture for their future selves. These people have a cultural affinity with the inhabitants of the border areas of Tibet. The Kyerong and Rangsyar areas are the main residences of the Yolmo people.

Thangka

Thangka is a Buddhist painting on cotton and silk that represents the religious belief of Buddhists. Thangka is a sacred painting for Buddhists, made in small clothes with further silk cover on the front, put in Buddhist religious pilgrimages and festivals. Thangkas hold unique significance in the Helambu area as most natives of the region are Buddhists.
