Your journey begins as you arrive in the colorful city of Kathmandu. After landing at the airport, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Kathmandu is a lively city filled with temples, small streets, local markets, and mountain travelers from all over the world. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax, walk around nearby areas like Thamel, enjoy Nepali food, and prepare for the adventure ahead. You’ll also meet your trekking guide and have a short briefing about the trek.

Today you leave Kathmandu early in the morning and begin a long scenic drive towards the lower Everest region. The road passes through hills, rivers, farming villages, and beautiful countryside landscapes. As you move higher into the hills, the air becomes fresher and the mountain scenery slowly starts appearing. After many hours of driving through winding mountain roads, you’ll reach the peaceful village of Bhandar, the starting point of your trek.

The trek officially begins today. The trail passes through forests, terraced farms, and traditional villages where local people continue their daily mountain life. You’ll walk both uphill and downhill through quiet paths surrounded by rhododendron and pine forests. The climb becomes steeper as you approach Sethe, a small mountain village sitting among trees and hills. The peaceful atmosphere and cool mountain air make it a lovely first trekking day.

Today is a beautiful forest trekking day with a steady uphill climb toward Lamjura La Pass, one of the highest points in the lower Solu region. The trail moves through dense rhododendron forests, which become especially colorful during spring. As you gain altitude, the temperature becomes cooler and the scenery more alpine. Reaching Lamjura La gives you wonderful mountain surroundings and a peaceful Himalayan feeling far away from busy trekking routes.

You’ll wake up early for a sunrise view over the Himalayas. On clear mornings, the views are unforgettable, with long rows of snowy peaks glowing in golden light, including Everest and many surrounding mountains in the distance. After enjoying the sunrise, the trail descends through forests and villages toward Junbesi, one of the most beautiful Sherpa villages in the Solu region. The village has monasteries, stone houses, and a peaceful mountain lifestyle that gives a true Himalayan experience.

Today is an important acclimatization and rest day. You can relax, explore the village, visit local monasteries, interact with Sherpa families, or take a short hike to nearby viewpoints. Junbesi is a perfect place to experience local culture and enjoy a slower mountain lifestyle. The quiet surroundings and traditional atmosphere make this a memorable stop during the trek.

Today’s trail includes both climbs and descents through forests, suspension bridges, and traditional villages. You’ll pass through quiet farming settlements and enjoy changing landscapes throughout the day. The trail eventually descends to Nunthala, a warm and welcoming village known as a resting point for trekkers and local traders. Along the way, you may see mule caravans and local villagers carrying goods between mountain communities.

The trail continues through green hillsides and small villages. You’ll cross rivers, suspension bridges, and forest sections while enjoying views of deep valleys and terraced farmland. Khari Khola is a lively village where different trekking routes meet, creating a friendly atmosphere with tea houses and local activity.

Today is a more challenging trekking day with several uphill sections. The trail climbs through forests and remote mountain paths away from the busier Everest routes. The peaceful environment, traditional villages, and untouched landscapes make this section special. Panggom is a quiet Sherpa village surrounded by hills and forests where you can experience authentic mountain culture.

The trail today includes gradual ups and downs through forests and small settlements. You’ll cross ridges and enjoy beautiful views of valleys and distant hills. The route feels remote and less traveled, offering a peaceful trekking experience. Najingdingma is a small village surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing after the day’s walk.

Today you descend significantly toward lower elevations. The landscape becomes greener and warmer as you walk through forests, riversides, and local villages. You’ll notice changes in vegetation and lifestyle as you move into lower Himalayan regions. Bung is a culturally rich Rai village where local traditions and farming life are still very strong.

This is a demanding day with a long uphill climb through forests and mountain trails. As you gain elevation again, you’ll enjoy wide views of surrounding hills and valleys. The trail passes through quiet areas rarely visited by many trekkers. Sanam is a peaceful mountain settlement with beautiful natural surroundings.

The trail descends steadily through forests and hillside villages. You’ll pass waterfalls, streams, and farming areas while enjoying changing landscapes. The warmer climate becomes noticeable as you lose altitude. Salpa Phedi is a quiet settlement located near river valleys and green hills.

Today you continue descending into lower subtropical regions. The trail passes through forests, local villages, and agricultural areas filled with greenery. The weather becomes much warmer compared to the higher mountain regions. Gothe Bazar is a busy local market area where people from nearby villages gather for trade and daily activities.

The trek today follows pleasant village trails through forests, rivers, and cultivated farmland. You’ll experience local rural life closely as you pass through small communities. The route is less physically demanding compared to earlier days, allowing you to enjoy the scenery and cultural atmosphere more comfortably.

The route gradually descends into warmer lowlands. The forests become denser, and the air feels more humid compared to the mountains. You cross rivers and walk through peaceful settlements surrounded by green hills. Chewabesi lies in a lower valley area and marks the final trekking section before reaching Tumlingtar.

Your final trekking day is easier and more relaxed. The trail follows villages, fields, and gentle paths toward Tumlingtar. Reaching Tumlingtar feels emotional after completing such a long and adventurous journey across remote Himalayan regions. You can celebrate the achievement and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Today you take a scenic domestic flight back to Kathmandu. During the flight, you can enjoy aerial views of hills, rivers, and distant Himalayan peaks. Returning to the busy capital after weeks in remote mountain areas feels like a completely different world.
