Khopra Trek often called Khopra Ridge Trek is a lesser-known trekking route that runs through the Annapurna region. Khopra has spectacular views of the Annapurna Mountain range, including Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Bhara Shikhar, Annapurna I, Machhapuchre, and numerous more peaks. Khopra Ridge Trek Route
The duration of the Khopra Ridge Trek is a 9-day long trek, although it can be modified to fit your schedule. After taking a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, we will begin our trek. We'll drive to Ghandruk and then hike a short distance to Tadepani. On the third day, we would trek for 4-5 hours toward Dobato. After enjoying a spectacular sunrise and mountain view from Muldai View Point in the early morning, we will continue traveling to Khopra Danda.
Then on the fifth day, we will reach Khayer Lake, a holy lake for Hindus. We will spend the night at Khopra Danda after returning on foot. We will arrive at Swanta Village on the sixth day of the trek and spend the night there. On the seventh day, we will hike for 5–6 hours and stay in Ghorepani to witness the morning view and the gorgeous sunrise the following morning from Poon Hill. That day, we will travel from Pokhara to Hile after walking for 7-9 hours.

Poon Hill
Poonhill, at 3210 meters above sea level, is one of the most well-known and beloved overlooks in the Annapurna Region and the perfect place for sightseeing. The Poon Hill viewpoint offers some of the most breathtaking views of the Ghorepani, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Mardi, and numerous more mountains. Poon Hill is a well-liked tourist destination in and of itself, making it an ideal choice for a detour on the way to Annapurna Base Camp.
Ghorepani
Ghorepani is a small settlement within the Annapurna Conservation Area that requires ACAP authorization to visit. There are few lodges to choose from, and usually, they are completely booked during the season.
Khopra Danda Viewpoint
The main attraction of the Khopra Danda Trek is the panorama at Khopra Danda. It is 3660 meters above sea level. The Khopra Danda Viewpoint offers mesmerizing views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri, and several other mountain ranges and has become a stopover site on the walk. The trekking area is also one of the best spots for sunrise.
