There are many monasteries, mani walls, and prayer wheels along the way in the Everest View Trek. Nepal Nirvana Trails provides information and let you experience the trek of a lifetime in the 9-day of this beautiful and mystic region lying in the lap of the highest peak of the world, Mt. Everest.

Everest Panorama Trek route

The Everest Panorama Trek route begins at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, also renowned as Lukla Airport.  Lukla is an entrance for trekkers to the Khumbu region, where almost all the Everest trekking routes start. Further, the trek will move forward toward the steep hills, smaller rivers, streams, and glaciers. The Everest Panorama trek is the synopsis of the natural diversity of Nepal that attracts thousands of tourists every year.

When you reach Jorsalle, you will continue your trek along the Dudh Koshi River's bank and enter the Sagarmatha National Park. Sagarmatha National Park is one of the richest habitats for a wide variety of flora and fauna. The animals like musk deer, Himalayan Tahr, bears, red panda, and snow leopard are the most preserved faunas in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Alongside many adventures, there are many recreational things on the Everest Panorama trek. There are various suspension bridges and diverse terrain, which offer mesmerizing views of natural landscapes and the Himalayas. The trail will move forward to the Namche Bazaar, which is the trading capital of the Khumbu region.

We will gradually ascend to Khumjung Village, one of the world's highest localities. Khumjung monastery has preserved the half football-like shaped scalp, which is alleged to be Yeti. The monastery allows the public to see the Yeti Scalp for a few hundred Nepali Rupees.

The trail will further move ahead through the rocky pathway to Tengboche. You will be able to have a partial view of the Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse mountains. Tengboche accommodates thousands of tourists daily and offers recreational value for tourists. Tengboche monastery, built in 1923 AD, is the largest monastery in the Khumbu region.

You will take a step back down the hill from Tengboche to Monjo. Monjo is a beautiful village that lies just north of Phakding. Monjo is the alternative stopping point of Phakding, and it is the major stopping point of our Everest Panorama Trek itinerary. The Monjo village adorned with cultural importance has a lot of lodges and guesthouses built in a way that shows the ancient and modern culture of the Khumbu region.

You will trek down the hill back to Lukla after spending a night in Monjo. The visit to Lukla from the Everest Panorama trek will give you a lot of positive energy, willpower, and confidence for your future endeavors. The Everest View trek is full of amusement and worthiness, offering many experiences under the same trek.

Lukla

Lukla is a small town with the starting point of the Everest trekking routes. The primary entry point of Lukla is Tenzing Hillary Airport. The people and environment of Lukla are tourist-friendly, and the views from here are very admirable, which is just a sign of the initiation of the entire collection of beauty and nature.

Namche Bazaar

Namche Bazaar is the trading capital and significant tourist stopping point of the Khumbu Region. It is one of the most designated tourism hubs not only on the route of the Everest Panorama trek but in the whole of the Khumbu region. Namche Bazar has a lot to offer for tourists and traders from the north to explore and expand themselves with a wide range of markets and choices. Namche Bazar has three museums that showcase the ancient Sherpa culture and traditions. Every tourist can visit those museums for their extra knowledge and exploration.

Namche holds one of the most famous trading markets, the Saturday market. In the Saturday market, you can get ancient and modern goods according to your preferences and essentials at low cost than usual. Saturday Market is mostly run by Tibetan traders who migrate to the south of the border to exchange the goods and services of Tibet for the goods of the lower hills and even the Terai region of Nepal.

Khumjung

Khumjung is a small village situated at an elevation of 3790 meters from sea level, which makes this village one of the highest settlements in the world. This village is inside the Sagarmatha National Park and is one of the must-visit sites during the Everest panorama trek region. The primary attraction of Khumjung village is the Khumjung monastery, where the Yeti scalp is protected in the cabinet for its exploration. Tourists can have a glimpse of this half football-like-looking scalp in a few amounts to the monastery.

Apart from that, Khumjung village is famously known for the schools, and hospitals established by Sir Edmund Hillary and are supported by the Hillary foundation. These are some of the good works done by Sir Edmund Hillary back in 1960.
