Our route takes us along a scenic high trail through the traditional villages of Ghyaru and Nawal, where we’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views. Along the way, we’ll visit Braga, a historic village known for its Tibetan-style houses and one of Nepal’s oldest Buddhist monasteries. Useful Info

Best Time for the Annapurna Circuit Trek

Annapurna is open to everyone in every season, though to take full benefit of the natural beauty and mesmerizing views of the towering mountains, we recommend you trek in the following seasons:

  1. Spring Season 2026: Spring (March-May) is considered one of the more suitable seasons to trek in Nepal. The winter ended, and the greenery blooms again, which makes the landscape's beauty more desirable. The temperature from March to May is suitable for trekking as there won't be much heat or cold. The highest temperature in this season reaches up to 22-23 degrees Celsius in the lower lands and decreases to 0 or even negative in the upper hills like Thorang La at night.
  2. Autumn season 2026: Autumn (Mid-September to November) is considered the best season for trekking to the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Autumn is also the festive season in Nepal, so you will get more exploration of the local cultures, festivities, and celebrations like nowhere before. The temperature at day stays at 18-20 degrees Celsius and decreases to 0 or even negative in the high altitudes. However, we will have balanced weather conditions, a clean environment, and equal days and nights with the journey to the beauty of the Himalayas. Annapurna, Fishtail, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri will be seen as crystal clear during the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Ahead of that, you will get the chance to enjoy and interact with the local people in their festive season.

Annapurna Circuit Trek Permit for 2026

For the Annapurna Circuit Trek, two permits are required: the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and the Trekker Information Management System (TIMS) card. Both permits are included in your trek package cost and will be fully arranged by Nepal Nirvana Trails before the start of the trek.

For permit processing, we require your passport details. Kindly send us a clear photo of the first page of your passport along with a recent digital front-facing photograph. There are no special photo specifications needed for the permit application.

Please provide these details once you confirm your trek booking, and we will take care of all the necessary arrangements.

Amazing experience at the Annapurna Circuit

Me and my boyfriend had an absolutely amazing experience doing the 13-day Annapurna Circuit Trek. Our guide Raj and our porter Dee Reej took really good care of us. Without them we would have never made it to the Thorong La pass. We also had so much fun together laughing and playing games after our daily hikes. We highly recommend taking Raj and Dee on your next guided trek.
We would also like to thank Nepal Nirvana Trails for the smooth communication. 🙏

    Annapurna circut

I did the Annapurna circut from Pokhara to Pokhara. I had the honor to do the grek together with the guide Resham who was a very nice and helpful man. The trekk was very beautiful but unfortunately it was very cold some days so i think it would be better some weeks later. I also found the first days a little to easy and quick, therefor it was a lot of free time when you just sat and waited for hours whithout anything to do. Perhaps it is because it should suit every level of hiker but if you are a quick hiker, you will get a lot of time doing nothing.
Overall it was a good experience and I am very pleased with the guide Resham.
    Best regards Oskar

Thank you once again for choosing Nepal Nirvana Trails. We hope to welcome you back to the Himalayas for another adventure, perhaps one with a bit more challenge and sunshine!
